Located off Highway 83 just twenty minutes south of Abilene, The Branch Coffeehouse was inspired by a trip to Ireland with the Agricultural Economics Department at Texas A&M University. It was here I noticed that no matter what, every small town we visited had a local coffee shop. These coffee shops were a place where the community gathered and grew together. This experience motivated me to bring Jim Ned, the community I grew up in, it's own gathering place. Whether it is a quick stop in the drive through for your morning coffee, or a quiet afternoon reading your favorite book and enjoying one of our homemade food options, The Branch Coffeehouse is here to serve. Making good coffee is all about BALANCE, never letting one flavor overwhelm another. We believe that this can apply to people's lives as well, which is why it is our mission to always bring a little balance to peoples' lives.
